Privacy Policy
Your browsing stays on your device. We don't run servers for your data.
Last updated: June 15th, 2026
Curb is designed to be radically private. We do not run a user account system, we do not operate app servers for your browsing or settings, and we do not track what you do on YouTube, Reddit, or any other site.
What the Curb app collects
Nothing. The Safari extension has no analytics, no accounts, and no connection to our servers. Feed blocking runs entirely on your device. On the App Store, Curb's privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”
Website analytics do not run inside the Curb app. They cannot see your Safari tabs, the sites you visit, your logins, or anything the extension does. App privacy and website analytics are completely separate.
On-device data (app only)
Your toggle settings — which sites are on or off, and whether the guide message shows — are stored locally on your device inside Safari's extension storage. The host app may read a small shared on-device cache (via Apple's App Group) so onboarding can tell whether the extension ran recently. None of this is sent to us. If you delete the app, your device removes this local data.
Purchases
Curb is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may process purchase and billing data under Apple's own privacy policies.
This website (curbblocker.com only)
This marketing site uses anonymous usage analytics to understand how visitors use curbblocker.com — for example, which pages were opened or whether someone clicked through to the App Store. We use Vercel Web Analytics, Google Analytics 4, and Microsoft Clarity. These services may collect anonymized data such as pages visited, device type, and general location. They do not track you across other websites and do not collect your name or email.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
What website analytics do not do: they do not run in the Curb app, do not see Safari, do not see YouTube/Reddit/Instagram or any site you browse, and do not receive your extension settings or blocking activity. Visiting curbblocker.com and using Curb in Safari are unrelated from a data perspective.
Children's privacy
Curb is rated for ages 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and the app is designed without user accounts or server-side personal data storage. If you believe personal information was provided in error, contact us and we will help resolve it promptly.
